Congratulation to Brett Taylor for being the summer Spotlight!
What for you has been the best part of Alpha Tau Omega?
The
best part for me has been the life-long friendships. I still keep in
touch with several brothers and I enjoy the chances to see other
brothers that I might not speak to as frequently.
What is one of your fondest ATO memory?
It would be too
tough to pick out just one. I enjoyed all of the things we did as a
group, whether it was a volunteer activity or a social engagement.
How has ATO contributed to your professional career?
I'd say that my membership in ATO as an undergrad has mostly helped
with my time management skills, which are very important when handling
several construction jobs at once.
What have you been up to since your time at UMD?
Work, pretty much. I'm looking forward to summer and hoping I can find the time to play golf more frequently.
What message would you like to give to the active members?
Stay as active as possible in the fraternity because even small things
like participating in debates during meetings can help build character
and management skills. The best way to do this is to run for a board
or chairman position.
